MPHS Board of Directors
The Mineral Point Historical Society is lead by a hard working Board of Directors. Board members,officers, and committee chairs for 2006 are:
Jim Stroschein: President, Chair of the Restoration Committe, and main fundraiser for the Society. Jim is a videographer by profession.
Nancy Pfotenhauer: Treasurer, Membership Chair, and WebMaster. Nancy is in her third, or fourth, career as a legal assistant.
Mark Speltz: Secretary and member of the Local History Committee. Mark is a history researcher for Pleasant Company and is working on his Master's degree in History at UW-M.
Peter Pfotenhauer: Grounds Committee Chair, Nominating Committee Chair, and Master Gardener. Peter has a law practice in Mineral Point and is also the City Attorney.
Allen Schroeder: Co-Chair of the Events Committee and long time Board member. Allen is the Director of Pendarvis.
Lucille May: Co-Chair of the Events Committee and native Mineral Pointer. Lucille is a Realtor with Potterton Rule in Mineral Point.
Jude Clayton: Newsletter Editor and Publicity/ Marketing Chair. Recently returned to her Mineral Point roots.
Matt Ostergrant: House Committee Chair, Restoration Committee member, and Local History Committee member, Matt works at The Century House in Madison.
