Mineral Point has always been about community, about the shared lives and stories of a small town. Similarly, the Mineral Point Historical Society is a community whose members don't necessarily share the same Zip code, but who do share an interest in the history and future of this unique place.
Since 1939, when the Founders signed the first Articles of Organization, MPHS members elect a Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting each year in January. In addition to the Board, Volunteers serve on Committees and give hundreds of hours of time each year to ensure the success of the various activites of the Society.
