Historic Photographs
The Mineral Point Historical Society has a large collection of images from 1875 to 1910.  Many of these are now available for online viewing thanks to a collaboration with Wisconsin Heritage Online (WHO) and the Wisconsin Historical Society.
Click here to see the images already posted.

The Mineral Point Historical Society hosts community events, presents history Lyceums and exhibits, provides tours of Orchard Lawn, prints a quarterly newsletter, sells books and other items related to the history of the region, and is currently involved in a major restoration of Orchard Lawn.

A private, non-profit organization, the Mineral Point Historical Society thrives because of the generous donations of time and money by members and the continuing commitment of volunteers.

Founded in 1939 to prevent the destruction of Orchard Lawn, the Italianate home built in 1868 by Joseph Gundry, the MPHS is an important resource for historians, genealogists, and anyone interested in the past, present, or future of the Mineral Point area.
