Tour Orchard Lawn with a guide, hear the story of the house and its place in Mineral Point history.

The 2008 tour season:
May 30 through September 28.

Special this year!  The restoration of Orchard Lawn, inside and out, moves to an active phase this summer.  Tour guests will see whatever is in progress at the moment.  This could include plaster restoration, trompe l'oeil restoration, wallpaper research, and paint analysis on the inside, building restoration, reconstruction and research on the outside. 

The historic photos guiding the restoration will also be on display.
Orchard Lawn is open for tours
Fridays & Saturdays: 1:00 to 4:15
Sundays: 11:00 to 2:00

Other times by appointment
Tours are $5 per person, free to Mineral Point Historical Society members.  Each tour takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

We will be happy to arrange special tours and times for groups and will coordinate with other historic sites in Mineral Point if your group would like to see other sites on the same day.
