MPHS presents - the podcast walking tour
press play to hear a sound clip from the podcast

Every town has stories of quirky characters, scoundrels, and saints (or near-saints anyway), but Mineral Point seems to have had far more than its fair share.   Three future US Presidents, Governors, Civil War Generals, a candidate for sainthood and the would-be future King of France once walked the streets of Mineral Point.  Of course, there are plenty of everyday people who lived and died and made a mark on this old mining town too. So if you like good stories, come along and take a podcast walking tour of a city with no stoplights that once had more people than Milwaukee and Chicago combined.
