Jammin' On The Porch
The Mineral Point Historical Society’s Jammin’ on the Porch season will continue this summer at Gundry House at Orchard Lawn, 234 Madison Street in Mineral Point, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on second Fridays, June through September. The popular outdoor concerts feature local musicians and a casual feeling amid rolling green lawns and beautiful gardens. Gather friends and family, bring a picnic dinner or snacks, your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy some of the best times that summer can offer. No admission is charged; the musicians play for tips.

Don't miss the last Jammin' on the Porch concert on Friday, September 10th. from 5:30 - 7:30. Bring a picnic dinner, drinks, a blanket, camp chairs, your family and friends.
Vicki Mecozzi and the Wooden Nickel Orchestra are all about great music and fun and not necessarily in that order. The group gets its name from Vicki's Grandpa Fritz. Every time she kissed him goodbye he would say, "Be a good girl now. Keep your nose clean. And, dont take any wooden nickels". He didn't say don't "be a Wooden Nickel". The band plays a fine array of folk, country, bluegrass, jazz and swing tunes. This concert comes with a yodeling alert.
